Long-time readers of TheCoolist will recognize our addiction to night photography, especially cities at night . Photographer Jakob Wagner is doing some brilliant work in this area, especially his latest series called Nightscapes . Wagner’s work takes him to cities across the globe– from Amsterdam to Neustift to Cape Town, South Africa. Wagner captures these cities in their nightly slumber, from a perspective that includes the natural landscape upon which these cities rest. The resulting images are bold, blue and beautiful, reflecting a philosophy that the cities themselves are a natural result of the evolution of the land around them. [via behance ]
